New Uke On The Way

I ordered a new ukulele yesterday. It is the first ukulele I have purchased in the last two years. It is an Ohana CK-38 all solid mahogany concert uke. I have the SK-38, which is light as a feather, plays great and is very resonant. That is one of the main reasons I went for the CK-38.

Mim is setting it up and it should be here by mid-week. A review will follow once I get it broken in.

I still have the review coming of the Ohana soprano pineapple which is also solid mahogany. Who would have thought that such great sound could come from such a small body?

Keep a look out for that review later this month. Until then, keep practicing.

New Vimeo Channel- Dedicated to the Baritone Ukulele

I have noticed lately that many of the popular blog posts here and liked videos on YouTube are associated with the baritone ukulele.

On YouTube I have a variety of videos about the ukulele which include every size: soprano, concert, tenor and baritone. To narrow it down, and to make it easier for those of you who play the baritone ukulele or are simply interested, I have decided to dedicate a Vimeo channel solely to that instrument.

In the next few days I will be uploading more videos to the channel so please check it out. Let others know about it too. I would appreciate it.

Here is a link for you and thanks for tuning in- https://vimeo.com/user22403950
